Michalina Gora, CNRS research scientist at ICube and HealthTech member, was awarded the prestigious European ERC grant for her research project entitled "In vivo gut-brain optogenetic endomicroscopy for digestive disorders management".
Her work aims at developing a novel method combining OCT (optical coherence tomography) and optogenetics to map the enteric nervous system and get an insight into the functioning of the microbiota-gut-brain axis in vivo.
