The Théâtre du Maillon is holding a series of events over 3 weeks on the topic of "Paranoid androids : robots and humans".
In this context, a panel discussion on the topic of robotics in healthcare is planned on Saturday, February 5th. The meeting will include interventions from:
- Birgitta Dresp-Langley, research scientist (CNRS, ICube), specialist in human cognition and the philosophy of artificial intelligence
- Bernard Bayle, Professor at TPS, head of the RDH team at ICube and HealthTech coordinator, expert in medical robotics
- Mathilde Legrand-Lestoille, post-doctoral researcher in rehabilitation robotics
The panel discussion will cover the ethical issues associated with the increased use of robots and AI in the health sector, how experts in medicine and robotics communicate together, as well as the impact of robotics and AI in the patient-carer relationship.
